Angela Marcel-Gavin

Angela is an Operations Specialist who joined MWM Planners in 2025. Working closely with the Operations team, she supports administrative functions to help ensure a seamless and positive client experience. In addition, she leads the firm’s marketing initiatives, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing efforts for MWM events, client engagements, and firm-wide initiatives.

She began her career in the financial services industry in 2021, entering the wealth management space directly after college. Prior to joining MWM, she worked in workplace financial planning with Goldman Sachs Ayco, where she developed a strong foundation in client service, operations, and financial planning support. She is passionate about continuous learning and is excited to continue growing within the wealth management industry.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems from the University of California, Riverside, and currently holds her FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.

Outside of the office, she enjoys attending mat Pilates classes and traveling to new states and countries whenever possible.

What is a dream destination you would like to visit?

The next country on my bucket list is Vienna. I once had a layover there and was immediately intrigued by the city.

How do you like to unwind after a busy day?

After a busy day, I like to unwind by picking up a green juice from my favorite juice shop and completing my daily Duolingo lesson.

What’s a small thing that brings you a lot of joy?

Playing with my cat always brings me a lot of joy.
